Sion-Mecca 9 is more than just a backdrop for survival, it is a fully realised world, rich with culture, history and the resilience of humanity. This is not a barren wasteland or an industrial colony ruled by corporate greed. Instead, it is a thriving settlement built by those who sought freedom from Weyland-Yutani’s grip, a utopia where families, dreamers and explorers have carved out a new life.

For years, the colonists have lived in harmony with their environment, relying on their skills, traditions and the resources of the land. They have left behind the excesses of technology, choosing instead a simpler, more sustainable way of life. Wooden homes line the shores, fishing boats crafted by hand drift upon vast alien seas and the sky above holds the promise of a future untainted by corporate rule.

But beneath this peaceful existence, something stirs.

Alien: Purgatory is a story of survival, not just against the Xenomorph threat, but against the elements, the fractures of human nature and the secrets buried in the past. It is a world where multiple cultures and religions coexist, where traditions from across Earth have merged into something new and vibrant. The colonists have built a society where kindness is the norm, where people help one another, not because they have to, but because they choose to.

But as the shadows lengthen, as an unknown horror begins to rise from the depths, the true test begins.

Will the people of Sion-Mecca 9 endure, or will their paradise become another lost colony, another whisper in the dark?
