Planet: Aurelion Theta
Planet Name: Aurelion Theta
Distance from Vorthar IX: 3.7 light-years across the Veiled Drift
System: Cyrixos Halo Cluster, Star VY-9D
Type: Bioluminescent Oceanic-Crust World
Moons: 2 (Lirven and Mahr)
Atmosphere: Dense and rich in xenon, methane, and trace lumora gas
🌌 Geography & Characteristics:
Aurelion Theta is a unique world veined with rivers of bioluminescent plasma-waters that glow teal under the darkened atmosphere. Instead of traditional oceans, its liquid flows through cavernous faults in a cracked obsidian crust, creating glowing fault lines seen from orbit. There is no sun in the system—illumination is instead provided by a stable blue-white gas giant it orbits, reflecting back from the twin moons.
Surface terrain is mostly jagged plateaus, pitted valleys, and crystalline forest clusters known to hum harmonically with seismic activity.
🧬 Biological History:
Millions of years ago, Aurelion Theta was a thriving bio-computational seed world created by the **Varn—**a vanished silicon-based race that mastered planetary-scale computing. The glowing rivers are remnants of their living data streams, still believed to store immense genetic libraries and war records encoded in fluidic fractal pulses.
đź“ś Legends & Use:
Forbidden Archives: Myth tells of a submerged temple known as the “Core Whisper Chamber” where only those with psionic resonance may retrieve encoded memories.
Xenomorphic Scars: Evidence of an ancient outbreak is marked by fossilized queen-ridges along the crust’s surface—warning glyphs etched deep into obsidian bedrock.
Predator Pilgrimage: Yautja rarely visit, but when they do, it’s to recover ancient lost relics rumored to predate even the First Hunts.
⚠️ Hazards:
Fluid storms erupt from the glowing channels, discharging energy pulses capable of disabling orbiting tech.
Indigenous light-shade predators—Cavarisks—hunt by absorbing light, making them almost invisible in bioluminescent zones.
Reality shifts near the poles, where time-loop anomalies have been recorded by ghost ships.
